I just received this from the GOA-

You can't compromise with evil. By next week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will move to place you and your family on a National Gun Registry.
Legislation that Pelosi is pushing hard will be voted on in the House of Representatives.
But sadly, GOA has received reports from pro-gun congressmen that some Republicans are looking to "clean up" the bill and make it palatable.
Never mind the words "shall not be infringed."
We have to tell every single Republican representative that we will not tolerate any moves to "clean up" H.R. 8 and H.R. 1446.
We want House Republicans to send Pelosi a unified message saying, "We will not support your desecration of the Second Amendment nor your attempts to limit the rights of gun owners around the country."
Send an important message to every Republican legislator in the U.S. House of Representatives. Tell them to NOT "clean up" this bill to make gun control slightly more palatable.

For years, the ATF has flaunted the law by using its annual inspection of dealers to illegitimately photograph and take information on gun owners -- and the guns they own -- from the Form 4473's held by the dealers.
Of course, this is blatantly illegal. And yet, even though ATF has all this information on you -- presumably in a format it can readily retrieve -- there is still a significant obstacle toward consolidating this into a national gun registry.
That obstacle is: Private transactions not conducted through dealers don't have 4473's. The ATF has no way of snooping into these transactions -- YET.
This is where the Pelosi-backed H.R. 8 comes in: It would require Brady Checks through dealers -- and 4473's -- on virtually every private firearms transaction in the country.
And guess what? Now they will have a national gun registry which will tell them who you are, where you live, and what guns you own.
An accompanying bill -- H.R. 1446 -- would allow the newly required Brady Check to be dragged out for up to twenty days or more. And, after waiting for weeks and petitioning the FBI, even if there was NOTHING AGAINST YOU, you would NEVER be legally entitled to have your gun delivered to you. NEVER!
Again, please take just a second right now to email the entire Republican caucus. No matter who your Representative is, this is a special effort to tell EVERY REPUBLICAN in the U.S. House of Representatives that they must stay unified in opposing every bit of gun control.
If the House passes these bills with tons of Republican support, guess what message that sends to squishy Republicans in the other chamber? You guessed it. GOP Senators will be more likely to support the bill -- which means we may not have enough votes to filibuster the legislation!
That's why it's imperative that we keep House Republicans from supporting this legislation in the House.

Unfortunately I believe we in Arizona will be screwed by the vote
We have 9 Reps and 5 are dumbocrats, with a couple in southern Arizona that would like to see a 10 lane highway coming north from the border. No lanes going south just north.

I just spent 30 minutes trying to get valid email addresses for the 4 that could help. I had no joy finding an address. All of the places I looked planted you square into are you in the district and if you do not answer correctly the sites take you to finding your rep. It appears that elected officials do no want to hear from anyone other than the people in their districts.

Keyword scanning software has been out for decades these guys can not afford one machine to scan emails and tabulate a chart on the subjects?
Friends and neighbors we may be in more trouble than we though.

Until we get a handle on the voter fraud and non-resident college students voting in our elections, it doesn't matter what AZCDL does. There are enough votes at the Universities to pass any state-wide initiative if NEXT Gen Arizona and Emerge Arizona get behind it. There are over 98,000 non-resident and foreign students in the state. Yes, they can ban "assault" weapons, high capacity magazines and all the other items on the anti's wish list.

That's not how lawmakers pass their legislation, also 2nd Amendment Sanctuary Statehood would render AZ impervious to additional Federal legislation

Arizona is one of those states blessed/cursed with the citizens' initiative process. If they get enough signatures to get something on the statewide ballot, the legislature doesn't matter.

Bill, you don't understand. There are enough illegal votes from the non-resident college students to pass just about any statewide initiative. They can ban any firearm they choose to, if they get enough signatures to get a measure on the ballot. It won't matter whether you're in Maricopa County or Tucson. We've never faced a threat like this and have to get a handle on it or we will be just like the PRC.

Maricopa County already has a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary law, so no new Federal laws against guns can take place...

The Arizona Citizen's Initiative process can override ANY state, county or local law or ordinance, INCLUDING a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary Law. How do you think we ended up with legalized recreational marijuana, even though there was a state law against it?

AZCDL has really made AZ a stronger, freer gun state--with them at the bat I won't worry

You better. They work in the legislature, our enemies are bypassing the legislature to enact their agenda and neither the Legislature nor Governor have any say over it.
