Does anyone else have 1911 in .22 LR? This is one of the better shooters I have seen. Not quite as heavy as a .45 but still fun. Made by Walther.

Yes! I have posted this model. Boy, what fun heh? Wonderful firearm.

They produced four models. Rumor has it discontinued soon but everybody's out of stock.

Besides the one I shoot I have the four different models, unfired. Going to hang on for a few years than sell the set.

If you go to....

Then read the first two reviews. It's me. (LOL!

Couldn't buy it, but I sure wanted to: Saw a Howa M1500 in 6.5mm Creed at Scheels in Sparks, tagged at just $500. It was in a black synthetic stock and had a sporter barrel. Already had the scope bases on it. Taxes and extra costs would have had it goin' out the door for a bit less than $600 but I'm not working, so it stayed on the shelf.

This sleep apnea sewage has cost me so much. Lost income is over $35,000. Treatment costs have totaled about $7,000. I've been unable to work since around July 1, 2019. My doctor has said I have improved to such a degree that I can go back to work. I'm now waiting on my birth certificate to come after which I can get fingerprinted, take the hazmat exam, choose a job and get back to work. I'll then see to it that that Howa 6.5 Creed doesn't stay on the rack for too long...

Finally got this RIA 9mm FS back from the coating. Cerakote Midnight Blue with VZ Ivory grips. A little polish work on the internals and a few other trick parts. Holds 10 plus one in the pipe.

Range gun and rotation carry piece.

Was offered and gladly accepted a Springfield Armory 1911A1 FS at a good price. Two of us took it out today and put about 300 rds through it. The first 24 rds (three 8 rd mags) we in the 5 ring center mass on an AZ LEO Qual target. The next 24, 15 yards with no misses into a 4x9 inch sticker. The next 24 into a 3x5 sticker at 10 yards with one miss. The at 10 yards 8 rds into a 1x2 sticker before I missed. It is a VERY ACCURATE 1911A1.

Didn't like the erector set on the Tanfoglio so I installed a different mount (Double Tap) and a new C-More STS 3moa dot.

Much better looking and lighter. Old bracket available.

I picked up some Hornady Lock n Load inserts with the conversion bushing.
These things take any press that supports the uber-large 1 1/4 - 12 sized dies. Most dies are 7/8 - 14.

What these inserts do is let you adjust your dies then twist them out and insert another die. Once adjusted they can lock back in and be right where you last left them. Imagine being able to swap out dies and not lose your adjustment setting?!

You need a press with 1 1/4-12 threads.
For the RCBS and many others you just remove the big black nut pictured on top.

Next you thread in an adapter into the press and a sleeve on every die you want to Lock n Load.
10 sleeves are $49 at Amazon. Imagine being able to swap in all your dies with a twist and lock.
It's like having a turret press but with the rock solid rigidity of an O-frame press.
