I have a reproduction of the 1921 Austrian Luger sold by American Interarms.
Smooth trigger, not much recoil partially because the action eats a lot of it up.
A bucket list gun so I am content with it as it was made. Accurate out to ~70 feet then the 4" barrel hits it limits. The ex wife liked it because of the action. She could not operate the .45's I have.

BHP for many many years. Gen 5 G19 is fast catching up however.
But, you know, just as a joy to shoot shooter as opposed to carry and defensive arm, I'd nominate my Luger Parabellum. Light recoil and feels right in the hand, great ergos. EDC type, not so much, worth too much to be more than an honored safe-queen... .

CANIK METE TP9SFX
I spent good money a while back for Springfield XDM OSP ELITE…. With match barrel, META trigger and this Canik outshined on all fronts in my hands.
