The leftists refuse to acknowledge that the revolving door justice system and open borders mean that bad people will remain bad people, and that removing rights of non-criminals will never have any affect on criminals.

Their own voter base is the problem. NOT the legal weapons of the good and law abiding citizens on the other side of the aisle. MORE weapons and MORE legal gun owners = LESS CRIME!

And.............Soon we will all be criminals, so that narrative becomes even more valid, especially as the politicals find their agenda failed!
YOU CANNOT DISARM AMERICANS, won't happen!

They might try someday.
They know it's a really bad idea, but they are still delusional enough to continue to try and talk each other into attempting it. For now, they will continue to incrementally infringe whenever or wherever they can. The mantra of "if it saves just ONE life" - only applies to firearms and second amendment rights. Nowhere else.

We are way over due of a good flushing of the pond!!

A good drought does wonders for drying up mud holes.

What if we made four years service in any military branch or police force, plus one year of first century American Constitutional study, a condition of "public service" (including the judicial branch) in our government?

A boy can dream, cain't he . . . . ?

I have actually said that for years. It is a great idea but as I get older and wiser I also see flaws in that theory as well. Either way it couldn't be any worse than what we have now!!

I do realize I'm preaching to the choir here, and after proofreading where my mind took me, I decided to post it anyway! LOL!!

Well sir, that right there was another undoing of the Left.

Conscription, or "The draft."

I have my suspicions why "They" removed the requirement to register for it.

"They" didn't want to take any chances of their "Progressive educational programming" being removed by military programming, and losing a Liberal Democratic vote.

They knew military boot camp, and the military in general, would expose that freshly instilled liberal mindset they worked so hard to instill through the educational system, would be revealed to the individual for what it was. A fallacy. Once that mindset is exposed under stress, of an alternate, logical, regimented structure of reality, their lies and falsehoods crumble, and a Patriot is born. One who's ideals now more closely align with that of the Republican party.

Another thing they removed from the educational system was teaching of the constitution and our form of government. Education in this area undermines what they are trying to do. I'm sure they realized some educators were actually teaching it in a way that also undermines what they are trying to do, so they sought to take it out of the curriculum altogether. Better to not chance exposure to some patriot teaching it in a way that exposes their way for what it is. Then there was the removal of the Pledge Of Allegiance. You can't raise good Socialists, and have them "conflicted" by the patriotic Pledge.

Socialism itself is a weak minded entity. For it to exist, you need people who are taught to believe they are weak, incapable, and program them in relying both on others and their Government, for their needs. The ONLY strength in socialism exists at the government level. POWER over the people.

This is diametrically opposed to the ideal of the strength and independence of relying on the individual first and foremost, then assembling those self sufficient, capable individuals as Free Citizens under a Constitutional Republic, which is written in a way to protects the right of freedom from oppressive government of those citizens. That is a very basic narrative of what the Founding Fathers wanted for themselves and us.

The real way to fight all this without firing a shot at our brother, is take back the educational system, and put people in our Government that support the rights, freedoms, and independence of this Constitutional Republic. People who will put their political power to the use of that end, instead of greedy self service and power.

Our way of life right here in America, as established by some very smart, educated and wise Founding Fathers, needs to be taught to our young in a manner that doesn't demean or detract from the strength of the individual. Individuals need to be taught and ingrained with personal responsibility, and a sense of patriotism to the form of government that has freed them.

The sole reason historical America is strong, and able to do what no other country has done, is because it's form of government was designed to Unite strong, independent individuals as one collective, by recognizing and supporting the rights of those individuals under OUR Constitutional Republic!

The Founding Fathers were not "unique" men of this country. Everyone else in the country at that time were just like them. Every one else also went through what they did. The Founding Fathers did not seek to cripple what they fought hard to obtain, which was independence and freedom, by setting up a form of government that could "grab power over the individual". Their vision was unique to the world, but not to their countrymen. I suspect our Constitutional Republic was really the only choice that would be deemed acceptable, and they knew it. After all, they had to live with it too, and notice I said "Live with it", and not "Live under it".

@Joe Link can we get a He!! Ya button. Great post!!! If I could like it more than once I would

Whol-E- Crap, that was an awesome post @wildcat455 very well said!

My Mom was a teacher back when teaching was still a worth while profession, and mom was also a patriot! Wife of a Naval officer, and mother to 3 Servicemen, daughter to a WWII Hero, and niece of 3 other hero's and aunt to 2 heros! She understood fully what made rhis country great, and she accepted her part in that and took great pride in it! She had her "Ego wall" at home, a framed photo of every member of her "Command" in the dinning room! Her generation of teachers were much like her, they knew the cost of freedom and would never take it for granted! This was before the era of liberal U.C. Berkly hippy protesters, and they did every thing to separate them selves from those people! Mom and most of the tenured staff made sure those "New" teachers were not welcome in the schools, but sadly, not all administrators saw the same things the same ways! I was brought up in that era, I call it the transition era, where the schools still tried to teach the way they should, but I also had many of those "New" teachers who had their own ideas and a system that allowed them to do so! My Brothers and I knew better, we had Mom to prove it to us, and we had a constant daily reminder in our dining room, all we had to do was look up a little and pay our respects to those who had fought for what we had, blead for it, and even died for it! Pretty much an In Your Face reminder of the truth that the system was trying to hide!

Not in our home!

President Trump and the patriots that voted him in, have taken a big step. One that should be repeated at ALL levels of government in our Constitutional Republic, and at state and local levels. When he talks about "Draining the swamp", I believe it is our duty as patriots to assist with that, not by casting bullets, but by casting votes.
One man's efforts only go so far, but President Trump recognizes what this country needs, what his fellow countrymen need, and is doing his part. For the first time in a very long time, a fellow citizen patriot occupies the White House. Not a career politician. And would you just look at what he's done? I assure you, and I think you can also see for yourself, he has done this at great personal expense, and I'm not talking about money.

I would sincerely like to be a part of the generation that history proclaims as the turning point, when America averted its eyes from certain pending socialism, and renewed its vigor and determination toward Freedom, Independence, the Constitution, this Constitutional Republic, and a personally responsible citizenship.

We can't rely on one man, any man, to do it for us. People who think like us, like patriots that believe in our form of government and our freedoms and liberty, need to step up. Not on the battlefield, but as non career politicians, to run against those who are. To take their place in our Government. To win our country back.

I'm not saying this because I am that man. I'm saying this because I recognize what is needed, and I am willing to get behind those men. To do my part as a responsible citizen and VOTE for that man.

If the last administration taught us anything, it should be just how close we came from losing it all, and there not even being this option open to us. I don't want that for my children, grandchildren, or their grandchildren.

If people who feel the way I do, openly carry this message publicly, the man that has a chance to do the right thing in our Government, the non career politician, the citizen, who is in a position to make his bid for a seat at the table, will answer the call. Just like Don Trump did.
He may not want to, George Washington didn't want to, either. He felt he gave enough. He wanted to go back to his farm and prosper, just like he thought he was supposed to. I'm sure there are others who sacrificed more to give back in those early, formative years as well. Destiny had other ideas for them all, and I'm sure, we all are eternally grateful.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
-Thomas Jefferson.

I do not believe now is that time. I believe and still have hope in our form of government, and I will continue to remain vigil, doing what I can to avert that outcome. If that time comes in my life, I will also do what I can to refresh the tree, as a Patriot of this great nation.

@Ura-Ki,

Teaching is STILL an honorable profession, albeit filled with less than honorable folks.
At least in my estimation.

In honor of your mother, teachers and educators like her, and some of the ones I had, I'd like to see that change!

We need those kinds of people in that field more than ever! It is vital our CORRECT history, lessons from the past, and positive mentorship be applied to those students, the sons and daughters of this Nation of free citizens!

There is allot of work to do, on many levels, and on many fronts. RECOGNIZE them! ACT!
Be a POSITIVE proponent for the kind of change that gets us back on track!

Me spouting off about it is the easiest thing to do, spreading the word.
Even if I reach a couple of you, I will compound my efforts greatly!
As too, you all will, I assure you! Talk to everyone.
Nothing is more mightier than the truth and the gift of free speech!

Except God... but that's a given.

"The pen is mightier than the sword."
-Edward Bulwer-Lytton

We have a chance here, a very narrow chance, to change things here for our country! We need to unite as ONE VOICE and vote for The Great Orange One, even though we may believe in some one else!
Tossing your vote for who you think is best gets us the very worst every single time, and the arguement that the electoral college automatically counts your vote toward what ever IT selects! Using your vote to send a message is fine, and even moral and patriotic, but in the same vain, is throwing that vote away! I really grinds my gears when some one votes third party and willingly tosses their vote away, in the falsehood of "making as statement" that never sees the light of day! Even when the electoral collage "picks" the one you/we feel is wrong, it is still counted and shown!
Dont like it, then lets change it so the individual counties in each state adopt the same electorial collage, so your voice, your vote does count, it does matter!
We have the chance to make that happen, we need to do so and break the backs of those professional politician's and restore honor to those institution's!
