Yes if you have a Tavor SAR you can convert it back and forth to shoot. that way you shoot cheaper 9 mm and then put the 556 barrel and action back in. Or you can just convert it to a 9 and use that for house protection because of 556 will probably go through a wall.

This honestly makes me want a Tavor much more now.
