Now it's gas stoves that have to be outlawed. I have heard air conditioners in our homes are next, to say nothing of the A/Cs in our cars. Expect all new home construction in the US to have ugly solar panels on the roof. No more gasoline-powered automobiles by 2035. You see where this is going? It's going to a loss of Liberty.
Because humans are without doubt the primary cause of "Climate Change," the number of humans will have to be reduced. Tyrannical governments will just murder their excess population; Mao showed them how with his Great Leap Forward. The Western World will mandate no more than two children per pair of parents. A family of just four "doesn't need" a home of several thousand square feet, so the 4,000 square-foot house you want-- and can afford-- is not to be built. Government knows it's excessive in size and as such will accelerate the destruction of the planet. Your family will live in an apartment of not more than 750 square feet. The HVAC will be controlled from an office in the State capitol, possibly hundreds of miles away. Your tiny apartment will not have an actual air conditioner using a Freon-like refrigerant, but rather a swamp cooler type of thing. Fret not; you'll become accustomed to sweating like a hog on super-humid summer nights.
