Thanks man . I might be more sad about selling my guns at this point ...:s0033:
Hello,

I'm quite interested in your design, but I would really first want to figure out your ballpark figure price you have in mind (don't wanna accidentally lowball you for instance). Additionally, if you're looking for a trade, what general categories are you looking for? For instance, I can trade you in ammo (got most major modern and milsurp calibers, just give me an idea what you're looking for), militaria (like helmets, bayonets, etc), modern optics and other accessories, and potentially other milsurps, many of which are aforementioned bolt actions that you mentioned wanting one. I can also pay a cash value difference between the value of the trades. Just lemme know what you're into for price/trade and I can see if I can give you a fair offer.

If trading firearms, ofc I can do a Bill of Sale as well as the usual AZ ID/DL check.

Best,
Darren

You could consider getting a SIG P322 or a 1911 .22lr variant, such as from GSG or Walther if you want a new production reliable .22lr that isn't a Saturday night special. They tend to be the most reliable, from personal experience.

Personally, I think that the Browning series of .22lrs weren't that reliable (I have an older Browning Nomad model and they are notorious for jamming with US-made ammo since they were calibrated for more European standard .22lr.) The new Browning Buckmark may be better, but personally I believe the Ruger Mark series tend to have the most consistent performance, especially the older Mark Is. Alternatively, if you want a plinker, you could also go for a .22lr Colt Single Action Army reproduction for fun.

Anyways good luck with your hunt!

Thanks!

Everything pictured, the 22 long rifle and magazine. The action is good. The butt has some minor cracking and the grip is missing. Also have a bb shotgun (ugly and needs repair) if interested

I am open to offers for the rifle, either cash or trade. I don't have figure in mind.
Hi!

How long is the Giles sling?

Hello Whiskey Tahoe, I am not quite sure how to answer your question as the sling is adjustable for length. I originally purchased the sling for my M1A Bush rifle (18 in barrel), but never used it. The product info denotes this is right hand design is for a M14/M1A, Military Stock with flip up buttplate. The rear loop attaches to the rear stock thru a sling swivel. The front webbing attaches to swivel on your front handguard. I am still trying to figure this new classified system as to how to send you attachment photos of the instruction list for this product, as well as more pictures of the sling. If I had your direct email, it would be easier. I suppose you could phone the company and ask them for specific your specific dimensions of interest.
Thanks for asking and let me know if I can pursue answers to any more questions.

if it where unbuckled, how long do the 2 pieces measure end to end? No worries if you don't want to measure it.
My email is [email protected]. I'm looking for a sling that 50+ inches long.

Maybe a pic of the instructions would get me started.
The Browning Buckmarks are a good pistol, as are the somewhat similar Colts... not sure if either is still in production. In my experience (YMMV!) "Friends Don't Let Friend's Buy Taurus" holds some truth in my experience, altho I've never owned one of their .22s Have you considered one of the Ruger "mark"s I-IV? Some what weighty, full-size, and in profile sort of Luger-looking.. I've had two, one an original early MK 1950's production, and a bull-barrel "target" MKI. Both have lasted well over 50 and 40 years respectively, never any problems of any kind, and do everything I need a .22 AUTO to do. Shopping for a used one shouldn't present any lengthy glitches. Ruger's helpful repair dept is another good reason to go Ruger in the unlikely event that anything go wrong.

I think the Buckmarks are still in production, but as this is just a fun gun then it being out of production wouldn't stop me.
The Ruger I had disassembled WEIRD. I couldn't get the thing out the back to take it apart. I don't know if they have changed that.
A lot of people say the Taurus .22 is the one exception to the rule. I agree that I would never buy something that I thought I would ever depend upon from Taurus.
I think you would be happy with the Taurus TX22.

Thank you. I have heard they are probably the best pistol that Taurus makes, especially for the dollar.
