When I planned my trip to Denali, I checked with the RCMP about carrying my AR10A through BC, Canada. The answer was, you will not get a permit. I checked if my Browning BLR in .308 would be ok. They said fine as long as I did not carry more than 200 rounds. I know that different "states" in Canada have different laws. They were polite and quickly answered my questions. Just no black rifles under any circumstance.
