Peep sight for marlin 39-a

I am looking to put a peep sight on an older Marlin 39-a. I believe it was made in 1946. Skinner sight will not fit, as there is only 1 screw hole in the top of the receiver. Any recommendations as to what sight will work?

Check the left side of the receiver. If there are two holes there towards the top, a Williams peep should fit it.
