Can you shoot 00 buck with a choke tube or not

so i was wondering if you can shoot 00 buck with a choke tube or do i need to remove the choke tube it is a mod choke tube any help would be greatly appreciated

You can shoot 00 Buck through a choke tube.

It is recommended that you pattern your gun and ammo to see if the choke is causing erratic patterns.

You should not shoot a load through the barrel with out a choke in place. The threads would screw up any pattern but the threads would load up with the plastic from the wad. I've heard this from another gunsmith who told me about a client who had removed the choke and fired the gun so much that the barrel cracked and blew off end the off the barrel was left hanging there by the rib.

As stated above, do not shoot your shotgun with the choke removed.
Modified choke is fine for 00 Buck. If you have a cylinder choke, that is even better.
