From the first time I saw the video I wondered about this. Fighting/resisting with the police is a sure way to get hurt or worse.
Everything was peaceful right up to the time it was not. All determined by the man being detained.

my op it was a good shoot for some reason blm folks think they should not have to obey the law.and since were giving an inch there going to want it all.if we do not take care of police were going to loose. i wont turn the other cheek.the race wars are coming!

Looking at the whole situation it astounds me that anyone would be so stupid to take on several police when the incident was peaceful up until the perp decided to go stupid. Where do these people learn this? I do believe that you are correct the investigating group decided it was a good shoot.
