BTW, I love me some old Ruger P-Series. The are the "gateway guns" to 1911's and High Powers . . .

Here's my first 2 Ruger P-Series P-85s.
They were both bought new back in '87.
1 was daily carried to and from work as a truck gun, worn in a holster for every motorcycle ride in the desert, survived a couple 3-wheeler crashes and got shot every weekend... while the other sat in it's original box and hiding in pristine condition. Between 45k and 50k rounds through the "truck gun".

Looks like it spent some time underwater, rusted a bit, then was cleaned-up as best it could be and put back into service. My guess is that it still functions...
