So Walmart has allied itself with they who abhor Individual Liberty. No more handgun sales in all fifty States and no more sales of ammo that will chamber in many of Americans' favorite rifles and handguns. Also, no more open-carry in the stores in States where open-carry is legal. I'm not at all anywhere near being said to have much of an intellect but to me, it seems Walmart has just hung a giant Gun-Free Zone sign on their stores. I'll ask one question: Where do we see mass shootings more than anywhere else?

All I have to say is everyone better start stocking up on ammunition and other firearm related stuff. I do not trust the majority of Americans to vote intelligently - if the Democrats take over the White House and Senate, while keeping the House of Representatives, then firearm ownership may very well come to an end in this country. We can not allow the Democrats to take full control of Congress (Congress = the Senate and the House Of Representatives, for those who don't know). Our very freedom depends on conservatives voting en masse in support of conservative candidates who will abide by the Constitution of the United States of America.

They WILL end up trying to confiscate (or 'buy back') all firearms, to completely disarm law abiding citizens. Their laws should eventually be overturned by the Supreme Court, but if the Democrats take control of Congress, then they will stack the court in their favor. The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves right now - all due to the stupidity of the Democrats. We have got to start sending better people to Washington D.C. - the current crop just plain sucks (Democrat and Republican alike).

Rather than copying your entire post Mr. Chevelle, I'll just say "Roger that!" Politics these days has become emotionalism. Seems to me the Constitution is just something to which we give lip service, but have no backbone to stand up and to defend it. Also seems to me that anyone who does defend the Constitution is deemed by the Criminal Left Media to be some sort of nutcase or a "racist" who wants to return America to the days of slavery. Only a brain-damaged liberal would believe such a thing. The Framers were far more intellectually-blessed than anyone in elected government of today. They gave us an avenue to amend the Constitution. That is how slavery was outlawed. Liberals need to read-up on the Thirteenth Amendment. But no; they'd rather spend their efforts on deleting the Second Amendment from that portion of the Document that puts the People on an equal footing with the government...

The socialist lefts feelings do not override my constitutional rights, as spelled out in the Constitution, nor does any ordinance of the touchy, feely snowflakes, disallow me my rights to protection from them or anybody else.

This is the very definition of INSANITY! To allow the full removal of our constitutional rights one little step at a time, with out due process of the laws clearly set down with in that sacred document, within it is contained the very mechanism to amend said right! They know full well they haven't the power or the votes of the people and the Several States, so they have taken to removing those rights a piece here and a piece there, all with out justice, and yet with the full support of the corrupted liberalist left courts who routinely rule from the bench instead of rule by the law!
It goes far beyond the vote, even if there were enough Nay votes to stop this Democraptic infection, they will somehow find a way to declare themselves King, and the vote null and void! Knuckle up folks, it's gonna be a really bumpy ride!

It's not just Wal-mart-- Kroger's the owner of Fry's Food Stores has also become anti-gun--
I went shopping at Albertson's today & it turns out the have all the same kinds of food I used to buy at Wal-mart & Fry's--I encourage every gun lover to do the same & vote with your dollars

As far as I am concerned, their "policy" doesn't trump my rights under the Law, as the state allows it freely ( Mostly) so eff um, a sign carries no force of law, and their wishes don't count for Sh!t! GO ahead and trespass me, I got a lawyer with a bad attitude and awesome track record!

FYI You can still care concealed in Wal-Mart and in AZ you don't need the permit any more . I keep mine up to date just for pride.

That said As WalMart goes from 20% of the nations ammo sales to 6-9% (their estimate) it will remove the check they had on prices for Hand Gun Ammo and 223/556 that they plan to cease selling, That is reason enough for me to stock up now

I'll not be affected by Walmart squatting to urinate because I do not shoot handguns (can't hit a billboard from fifty feet with one), and I reload all my .223Rem ammo. My problem with Walmart is that they capitulated to the smarmy emotionalism surrounding the several heinous crimes we've had over the last several weeks...

The Wal Mart CEO displayed his ignorance with his statement regarding calibers for 'short barrel rifles'. He is pandering to the anti-gun crowd. Ask yourself, who among your fellow shoppers at Wal Mart, really care if they sell guns and ammo? I hope this fool suffers the wrath of shareholders for the reduced profits, not only for ammo, but for all the other items that are purchased while shoppers are at the store.

Agreed.

Lets hope Walmart does some roll back prices on that ammo. I bought 500 rounds of 9mm for $85.00 yesterday.
You'll notice they didn't empty the shelves to stop the killing immediately. They are going to sell out existing inventory, so it's about the money not the safety of the customers and citizens. The statement issued by the CEO was just virtue signaling.

LOL, My local store here still has the ammo on the shelves at the regular every day low price and no signage to indicate any changes!
I was getting all giggity about scoring a bunch of the good hunting ammo, Fed Blue Box .308, .30/06, 7 mm Mag, .300 Mag for super cheap, but I guess they are only getting rid of those nasty Short Barreled rifle bullets and combat handgun ammo, so my .45 Colt should be safe, or my Dirty Hairy .44 Mag!

My take? Walfart is asking me to not carry openly, however, I will. Asking and doing are two different things.
If you're asked to leave because you are openly-carrying, you'll have to go immediately and without objection, else you could be charged with trespassing. Maybe even criminal trespassing (if Walmart presses it) but I'm no lawyer, so I may be talking out my assets on that one. About all you can do is to test them. If they deign to launch missiles on you, all you can do is to agree with them and leave the property in as dignified a manner as you can. Earning yourself a misdemeanor tresspassing charge is not something any law-abiding man should want...

In Arizona, if they post a sign at the entrance that says No Firearms, then you must comply (even if you have a CCW). If they ask you to leave because you are carrying, you must comply. As much as I hate these policies, they are property owners who have rights - just like our Second Amendment rights. I don't like it, but I must respect other's rights if I expect my rights to be respected. But, we still must fight against these ignorant - and highly unconstitutional - red flag laws.

I still conceal carry into a place where a sign is posted no firearms. If asked to leave I immediately comply with the request. I don't want a criminal trespass on my record. I hate the stores that have a sign but i agree with 1971 Chevelle. Private business have the right to make that decision. I feel like AZ will be the last state that would hold out on enacting any kind of gun control law/red flag law. This state is so gun friendly so it'll be a while before any one makes an attempt except for Tuscon it riddled with liberals.

I think you need to pay more attention to Ducey. He asked the legislature to pass a red flag law in 2018, and he is asking them to do it again. We are only 6 seats away from the scummy Democrats taking control of the Arizona legislature. We need to make sure that our elected representatives understand who they actually work for.
