It's a little sad that there's no prefix-tag for CA events, some of us are still trapped behind enemy lines.
Anyways, Desert Marksman is holding their annual range cleanup day Saturday May 6th at the Desert Marksman Range. This is a members-only range. However their membership drive is currently on. If you are interested in joining, here's the link:

It's $100 for the first year, $60 every year after that. Before you get your membership packet, you need to attend one of the orientation days, which gives an overview of range rules, policies, and safety. There is an orientation and safety briefing at 10AM Saturday May 6, if you are interested in joining and want to see the facility first, it's not a bad idea to attend. You can join later, or you can join before, your choice.
I'm doing a major push to get most of my Taco Tuesday peeps to join. If you're in the LA area, this is a fantastic range, and membership allows you to use the range at any time (unless there is some other event like a match going on) day or night, and there is on-site camping.
