I took my new (to me, but never fired) Sig Sauer P365 to the range this morning. After hearing how great they were, I had high hopes. Reality, however, doesn't align with high hopes.
To me, the gun is just too snappy. I was using 115 grain target ammunition - no +P or +P+. Many people have said they love the accuracy - I did not have their experience. Perhaps I need to put more rounds through it, but as of now, I am just not too impressed with it. It will be an absolute emergency, no other choice backup firearm for now.
The pluses are the size, weight, and functionality. I only put 48 rounds through it, but it had no issues with feeding, firing, or ejecting.
I really need to find someone who will let me fire their Kimber Micro 9 or Glock 43/26, so that I can see how they compare to the P365. Maybe it would help to use subsonic ammunition, but that stuff is ridiculously overpriced.
