Repeated chambering of the same rounds, as in unloading and reloading carry weapons for whatever reason, can not only cause setback, which could lead to kaboom, it DEFINITELY can also cause primer compound separation, which caused a police officer's failure to fire at a critical moment. What system do you use for carry ammo rotation?
 
How hard is it to eject the chambered round at the end of the day and put it in a box for use on the next range trip. It seems this not only avoids this potential problem, but might get you out to the range for a little handgunning, which is not bad in my opinion.
