Production is 1971. Bore is clean and rifling looks new - hasn't been fired much. Bolt action and stock Walker trigger aren't even broken in. Previous owner did the gold paint thing on the lettering. Got some smudged on the bolt handle. Looks good, mostly. Has unusual orange colored trim (I've never seen it before). Bluing is 99%+ easily. Has hooded rifle sights (some models do not have rifle sights), jeweled bolt (with no visible wear), floor plate (has a number engraved on it) and sling. Test fired to adjust the rifle sights - previous owner and I had a near identical point of aim. Cloverleaf at 25 yards. No problem engaging steel plates out to 300 yards. Coming up on 50 years old (the rifle, not me) and I can say, I have never seen one of these this old, original - and this clean…in my lifetime.
