OK, OK, lookie here NM is, of course, part of this nation's great southwest community so here is something i just stumbled upon:

Concealed Carry Licenses
first, site is undated, but please note the first sentence ~ The Concealed Carry Unit is notifying all instructors of the recent repeal and replacement of Rule 10 .8.2 (sidebar: not sure of the term recent since the statute was updated in 2016!)

second, same site has a pdf of the DPS CHC act of 2003 material but is also undated so currency is in question. https://www.dps.nm.gov/templates/g5...icense/FILLABLE/NMAC CCW Booklet FILLABLE.pdf

third, same site has a pdf of the 2 hour CHC online refresher course. (sidebar: there is no guidance on the document's use etc.) https://www.dps.nm.gov/images//ConcealCarry/2-Year-PowerPoint-updates-as-of-19-December-2017-MF.pdf

to refresh everyone's memory, 10.8.2(A)(15) mandates a two hour refresher with an instructor led live-fire exercise with the caliber listed on the permit OR an online course! (sidebar: w/o reading pdf material, took the course and passed the 15 question assessment at the end, yes i missed 2 due to bad and confusing distractors for answers on an overall horribly written assessment!)
no information if this 5 minute exercise meets the spirit and intent of NM's DPS agency in lieu of an actual live-fire or meeting with a live instructor?

knowledge is power make your own judgement as our congressional body is working toward national reciprocity.

You typed an awful lot of states. I wanted to be legal for my travel thru NM for the NRA Convention in Dallas in May.

NM piece of cake cuz you will be transiting...the LoneStar state is where i would assure you have your AZ
since the idiots, er citizens, in TX allowed law enforcement to play twenty questions with citizens if law enforcement see your firearm and you may need a permit to sate their curiosity.

May is booked already so I can't make it.
