NEED RECOMMENDATION FOR VPN

I'm looking for a new VPN to install on my network. I don't need hundreds of international sites, am not a gamer, etc, etc, blah blah blah! Just looking for something to stop bad guys and the gumment from reading my data and stealing my private stuff.

I got a referral for PROTON VPN, A FREE VPN. I've installed it and testing it now. Seems to be functioning.

As I attempted to privately pass on to targetshooter to avoid the drama we just experienced for which I personally apologize for my insensitive part in this; but as it was presented to that member, after due diligence researched and discerned HMA had the best bang for my needs and effort on my Microsoft/IOS/MAC digital equipment.
