Greetings, I shot 300 yds today for the first time with my Sako P94s Range rifle getting ready for a 300 yard match this weekend.
Just to get your heads spinning, the come up from 100 yards for a 300 yard shot with my gun and ammo is 35MOA, yup 110 inches.

Prior to shooting today I swapped scopes to get one with as much elevation as possible. 34mm tube Sightron SvSS with 70moa elevation.
Sighted in at 50yds, then 4 MOA up to go to 100yds. For my rifle and ammo. It's another 16 ish MOA to 200yds and another 19 from there to get to 300.
Now that I have a 300 yard zero, I can go back to the 200, 100, and 50 yard ranges and double check the come ups. I'll then tweak the G1 BC value (currently .2)
Like a lot of 22 match ammo, the Eley Tenex 1078 is subsonic

I had to spin the turret 3 &1/2 full rotations to get 35 MOA and it got me close on the 8 ring so it was actually more like 37 MOA to bullseye.
After that first shot I was able to score three Xs and two10s. This target is 3in xring, 7in 10 ring, and 13in 9 ring.

More testing Friday,
