So, I'm kinda settling into my new location here, and one of the things I'm looking into is programming all my HAM gear with local repeaters, I've come across a few lists, one thing I've noticed is there is a TON of DMR stuff. I don't know if anyone else in the area does the amateur radio thing. Also, vegas is a hell of a lot smaller than most of the places I've lived both geographically and populationally. I'm down to do weekly nets and help people get licensed.

What part of town did you move to? There are several nets around. Where did you get your repeater listing from? You can get some information at Home - Las Vegas Area Amateur Radio Exams If you use the contact us on there you could ask for the latest copy of the repeater list as well.

I'm over in Summerlin, quite near to Red Rock Casino (and the hiking trail as well). I tend to head up Mt Charleston way quite a bit, and I like to go to a shooting hole near Creech AFB.

Also, maybe I should get around to upgrading to extra in the next few months.
