I was originally going to have made forming and reloading dies for a 6.5mm mildcat that upon further research was so close to a 6.5-284 Norma that the time, money and effort required to bring the round to fruition was deemed excessive. I'm interested in your thoughts and opinions of the 6.5-284 round you're using. Do you have any idea to how far out the bullet is still supersonic? I'm looking to have a 143-grainer still rippin' along at above the speed of sound at 1600 yards...

Well sir, I put this gun together when I moved to Az figuring there would be a bunch of LEO's into this type of old fashioned fun. Not a one...... So I cannot give you an answer. I've not even shot it. Big tears running down my cheeks...........sniffle, sniffle !!!
