Ivories on a black gun.
Looks like something General Patton would have worn on his belt.

The radical-lookin' endplate came yesterday. The little alignment nub is very small; doesn't look long/large enough to extend into the groove on the underside of a carbine's buffer tube. Price was a little over two bucks; took several weeks to receive it. I have doubts about the fit/utility, so am not going to order any more of them...

Just ordered a Sig Romeo 5 red dot for $99 @ Primary Arms. It's a special offers that ends up in about 12 hours from now.

That's a good price!

I paid $20 more for the same thing from Palmetto 2 weeks ago.

Spent around $500 in gas and hotels to drive back from Virginia (where I've been for about two weeks) to Nevada, where I can slap a 30--rounder into a Black Rifle and let it rip into the nearly-infinite desert about four miles from my house...

Picked up another 38 Super. This is a 1983 Colt MK4 with compensator, Bomar sights, trigger pull that should be illegal and a beaver tail you barley need to touch. Has a 5 1/4 inch Wilson Combat barrel with magwell.

I added the grips and Kimber magazines wth slam plates. Just a fine feeling firearm to hold.

You must have a fine collection of handguns. Everything you've shown us are museum-quality examples. That bronze S&W Model 12 is somethin' else. Does my heart good to know that your collection gives the gun-grabbers indigestion and gas...

Thank you for the compliment.

I currently have five more enroute so I'll post up. Two SW revolvers, Colt model 1903 that turns 100 next year, Tanfoglio Eric Gold Cup 38 Super with mount and red dot, extra mags with 450 rounds, and a DW Guardian 38 Super.

Also in contact with a Vendor to do these grips in Rose Gold for my Day of the Dead 45 acp.

Stay tuned....

I just scored another Winchester 1895 Lever action in .30/06 ( Special thanks to @11Charlie for knocking me upside the head) to add to my growing collection of these, arguably J.M. Browinings best design! I have my Grand Dads custom 1895, and a really neato African in .405 Win, and now another .30/06 to play with and do some custom resto-mods to while i'm on my "Stalking Rifle" faze of crazy cool and practical!

Merry Christmas! To me of course. Wanted one last year but prices were high. Not this year.

Dan Wesson Guardian 38 Super. First DW and won't be the last. Fit, finish, trigger pull all top notch. Beautiful piece. Number 12 of my 38 Super fetish.
