Hello,

Not at this time. The Master Plan is a design concept. The delay in any future building is funding.

Good morning, neighbor. Is there a construction/completion schedule for the remainder of the CCSC as designed in the Center's Master Plan? Looking forward to the addition of the long range shooting positions. Thanks... Dan
Shooting Complex - Master Plan

Yes, Cowboy style shooting. I don't do it but there are people in my neighborhood that do. Usually done with some type of blank (or using oatmeal/cornmeal) and balloons for targets at close range.

OK; going to guess the shots are taken from a dummy horse-- a saddle mounted on a post of some sort. What would make it really interesting is if the saddle was on a spring-loaded gimbal and there were ropes that could be pulled to make the saddle flop around, to make it more like riding a horse. If I thought of it, it most surely has already been done. I've never had an original thought in my life...

They shoot from live, running horses that have been trained to do this. They even have custom made ear protection for the horse. It's an expensive hobby. Anything involving horses is. The horses have to be specially trained. A lot like girls who barrel race horses at rodeo's.

I would have never thought of that! To make it even more difficult, the stands with the balloons on them need to oscillate back and forth in a slow arc of about six feet in length. Imagine how hard that would be to score a hit.
