My engine lost oil pressure October 8th, 2019. The guy who was rebuilding it had it in his possession around October 15th. I did not get the engine back until the first week of 2021. I have been working on it slowly, as I was not going to kill myself getting it put back together.

Well, today I decided to put the last few things on and fire it up. The engine was a 377, but is now a 383. The cam is a little bigger, too - hydraulic roller, with .560 lift intake, .530 lift exhaust, 288° 294° duration. I think it sounds pretty healthy (according to the cam designer, he said it should be right around 500 HP/ 500 Ft. Lbs. When I finally get to take it out after a few break in miles (for the rings - not the cam), we'll see how it runs.

I decided to take it through emissions today and got it to pass on the first try. Now I just have to go stand in line at the DMV sometime this week to get it registered.
