Lets see how the folks in AZ handle the proposal on renewable energy. WHICH IS SPONSORED by a billionaire in SAN FRANSICKO. Just what my state needs is government regulation from the liberal coast. FYI there is a reason you do not see acres of flat plate collectors, PV in the desert. PV does not like the heat. The largest PV array is in Springerville area. You do see acres of mirrors reflecting into a tower to generate electricity but that is not what they are trying to shove down our throats.
