You can't have one. The exponential fool known as Dianne Feinswine says you will shoot down an airliner with one. I'm 99.98% sure that has never happened but if Feinswine says a user of one .50-caliber Barrett could do so, that's sufficient evidence to make the rifles illegal for Americans to own.

arent all barrets repeaters? I've seen a bullpup bolt action model but even that had a magazine.

The only single shot Barrett 50 caliber I know of is the M99.
