I bought my braces with a letter, explaining that the ATF had approved them for use with a short barreled AR-15. I'm sorry that the ATF has gotten their heads stuck up their butts, however that doesn't change the fact that I bought and installed my braces in a legal fashion just like the other 10-40 million Americans

Bill...if you can afford to hire an attorney, pay fines or go to jail..have at it, but do not pass on bad legal advice to folks who ask for honest information. Being mendacious and dishonest about the actual consequences others may face does nothing to help promote the 2nd Amendment issue. The left loves these types of posts.

There are already multiple lawsuits pending. This won't make it to 90 days before it has an injunction against it. As you said, it's a rule, not a law. The ATF does not have the power to make law. I don't personally own any of these but I look forward to the ATF looking stupid yet again.

The sad fact is braces meet all requirements of 'common use', with somewhere between 10 - 40 million Americans currently estimated to have used a brace.

If the fact that any gov't agency can find a reason to harass someone bothers you, I can't help that

The Second Amendment Sanctuary law requires that State authorities not help the Feds enforce any new or more restrictive laws against Our Second Amendment Rights. That won't stop the feds from sending someone out to knock on your door but it isn't supposed to be State LE
