Looks like an avenue for the Criminal Left to further erode our Liberty. They'll just by fiat declare the upper receiver to also be a firearm, and we'll have to suffer through two background-check phone calls, have to pay for two background checks and be subject to one gun purchase per month restrictions-- which means you buy the lower today and the upper 31 days from now. You may scoff, but never forget that the Criminal Left is forever looking for new ways to reduce or to eliminate your Freedom...

Our government agencies continue to write their own laws whenever they feel like it. They roll over citizens with impunity until somebody with deep enough pockets to lawyer up enough manages to push these “rules” into the courts. Then once in court - there’s a chance that a judge will review the “rule” and decide that it’s not a “law”. Then the government agencies just change their “rule” and it starts the process all over again.

For many years now our cowardly congress men and women have avoided actually taking a
position on issues, resulting in a potential loss of dollars and reelection, by voting for
authorizing legislation. What's that? A bill which authorizes a department or agency or
whatever to write regulations they (the un-elected bureaucrats), think are good or necessary.
Thus, they can say they didn't vote for that rule or regulation, and the fact that you are
cheated and upset is not their fault, and you should give them money and vote for them.
Slick, huh?
