I know I posted a thread similar last summer that I didn't get any response on. I'm in La Plata County, and was wondering if anyone knows the best places to shoot around here. I shoot 9mm, 12 gauge, .308, 5.56 and 7.62x39. I wasn't sure if anyone in the southwest Colorado area could help me learn places I can freely shoot at, or local ranges that are decent. I haven't been shooting since I moved here from AZ in February, and I just am struggling to adjust to a new state, new laws, and learning to meet people again. Anyways, if anyone knows any resources about where you are allowed to shoot in the SW area freely, or recommended ranges, I just want to be able to go to some places i can work on 500yd+ shooting as well.
