From NWFA and wishing we had a similar effort here in Texas. Closest thing is TexasCHLforum.com It's run by a former cop/lawyer who does a fine job but the site is heavily into trying to influence the legislature and somewhat short of the folksy chatter on NorthWest.
I'm a senior citizen, CHL holder for nearly two decades and currently teaching a pair of 15 year old grand kids gun safety and hunting skills. Texas emphasizes "youth hunting" with a special permit and weekend for kids only to deer hunt. Hoping I will be teaching at least one of them how to field dress a White Tail in a few months.
