Crime Index has rated Albuquerque in the top 20 worldwide. This rating is based on many subjective factors that are not necessarily reflected in crime statistics. It will also fuel the Far Left Governor's crusade against guns in her new "Special Session". So be ready to fight for your rights... It should be pointed out that the Governor herself should take a lot of the blame as she has used her high profile position to "agitate" the populace and instill these fears.

I am a life long resident, in fact my children are the seventh generation of New Mexicans, it sickens me to know this is not the city I grew up in and that my children are subjected to the worst things everyday. In fact we went to have lunch at the Owl cafe not to long ago only to have the cooks beating the crap out of each other screaming and cussing, scared my girls half to death. Remember what you see every day when it comes time to vote this election!

Forbes back in march did an article showing New Mexico as most dangerous state in the country

I really think that a part of the problem is that we often only have the option to "RETAIN" judges in an election! That needs to change! Many people do not really pay atttention to that because they are more focused on the "big ticket" elections, but _every_ thing is actually important, even the a-holes elected to the school board - a relatively safe start for many Demo-hypocrit candidates on their political career. New Mexico basically assures a fiscally stable, usually long term, legal career to those who get elected to the bench ... and that needs to change. If all they have to do is give a slap on the wrist of criminals, and nobody pays attention except complain about "revolving door" criminal justice, then this is what happens.
