Advice Requested for EDC Choice

    Factory seconds do not carry the warranty....but i've never had Kershaw decline to fix something...first or second production.

    That's good to know. I've never had to use their warranty service.

    You can usually get parts pretty cheap on eBay and fix it yourself. I have done that a few times with knives where the warranty ran out.

    I carry the Spydeco Endura but if you want a shorter blade I have a benchmade and Kershaw ... perfer the benchmade spring assist over the kershaw flipper but very much like them both.

    Does Kershaw make push button spring knives like Benchmade?

    They just released some autos this year. I bought one of the versions and it's just ok imo. Prefer their assisted opening.

    I'll have to see if I can find one to check out. Too bad it's just ok, hopefully they'll improve.

    I don't have the most dexterity in my fingers which may be why I feel this way. The button isn't in a good location for my hand.

    what' the status or value of BUCK knives? They used to be top level, but have they been sold to the Chinese too?

    I guess either Buck is N/G or no one has any use for them?
