20moa + 20moa = 40moa?

Yes you would have 40 MOA of elevation (within the accuracy of the mount and rail)

If down the road you want more adjustable elevation in your mounts, consider the Burris Xtreme Signature Rings.
They feature inserts that add or subtract elevation depending on how they are used.
Their instructions are useful for calculating MOA from your mounts depending on how far apart the rings are placed and what inserts are used.
